OU program teaches Japanese

Ohio University’s Go International is a one-week program for area students in grades 9-11 to learn basic Japanese and interact with Japanese students.

Participants will receive an OU certificate, live in an OU dormitory with a Japanese high-school student, study and spend time with their Japanese friends, and participate in afternoon activities and field trips.

Two one-week sessions are available; session one is Sunday, July 27 through Friday, Aug. 1, and session two is Sunday, Aug. 3 through Friday, Aug. 8.

The session costs $230. For anyone who does not stay in a residence hall, the session costs $60.
